Duties and Responsibilities
Loyola University Chicago is seeking a Research Assistant Professor to perform research activities related to drug discovery and development for anterior segment ophthalmic diseases in the laboratory of Dr. Simon Kaja. The position is funded, in part, by the National Eye Institute for the development of novel immunotherapy for dry eye disease.
Qualifications
PhD in biomedical sciences, pharmacology or neuroscience plus 5+ years' related experience. Strong track record of publications is required. Prior experience in vision research and corneal wound healing and/or high resolution microscopy is required.
