Job Description

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, assist in meeting generalized needs of department staff as well as patients and families to enhance the delivery of safe, seamless, and personal care. Greets patients and family and offers support resources from within the department.
Work directly with department leaders and staff and collaborate with diverse roles to identify opportunities of support and collaboration. Assist in creation of department documents, folders, and organization as needed. Use their understanding of time management to plan effectively and accomplish assigned tasks.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Communicate with staff , patients and families with professional and courteous verbal, written and electronic communication.
Utilize personal understanding of commitment, time management, and follow through to ensure Their participation on a professional team meets collective goals.
Intern can use their critical thinking skills to generate and evaluate solutions as they relate to the needs of the team, patient, and department.
Intern can use their understanding or workplace change and variety to be open to new ideas and handle ambiguity through adaptability and flexibility.
Effectively communicating analysis and potential improvements to process owners to initiate and implement sustainable change
Minimum Education Requirements
Education Level
Currently enrolled student as a Junior or Senior in High School and enrolled in Career Internship program
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

*Self-starter with the ability to be productive independently and able to handle multiple projects.

Organized, detailed, and service oriented with a strong character and leadership style.
