Position Overview
As an Associate, Land Crossings you will negotiate and facilitate crossing agreements with the counterparties of our transmission and utility-scale energy projects throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead role in crossing negotiations and own this process and deliverables.
- Effectively negotiate and draft all crossings needed to close real estate on a project.
- Coordinate cross functionally including real estate counsel, development, project management, survey, and title.
- Prioritize responsibilities based on organizational needs and deadlines.
- Effectively form and manage a crossing database.
- Establish and maintain relationships with both crossing parties and external counsel to foster a positive and continuous business relationship.
- Coordinate crossing communication efforts.
- Represent Invenergy LLC while negotiating with crossing counterparties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with Land Crossing negotiations or Right of Way agreements.
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with the Clean Energy Industry as well as Oil and Gas.
- Strong organizational, networking, leadership, time management and accounting skills.
- Strong communication and personal skills.
