Job Description

The hiring range for this role is: $78,638.00 - $110,285.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range andthis hiringrange may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.This job is also eligible for annual bonusincentivepay.

Responsible for producing account-specific network reports that reflect the geographic accessibility and product coverage of Blue Cross Blue Shield providers to a national account's employees. Prepare account-specific demographic data from Plans for use in the reporting software and recommend alternatives for improved reporting results. Provide network reporting and consultative oversight to support Sales and Marketing and Consumer Engagement strategies. Develop detailed objectives, plans, and procedures for specific ad-hoc projects preformed individually or collaboratively.

Utilize analytic and reporting applications to develop network reports that support the Plans in their efforts to increase and retain national account membership. Receive, analyze, and summarize data for geographic accessibility, unique provider count, disruption analysis, and network analysis reports. Ensure that reports provide coverage information according to Plan, Account and/or Consultant request for proposal (RFP) specifications.

Serve as point of contact with Brokers, Consultants, Blue Plan Sales and Marketing staff to provide strategic consultation in defining or designing network reports that best illustrate the strength of the Blue networks. Interact with internal and external customers to collect information and support analytic reporting activities. Receive and analyze data on health care membership demographics, competitors and health Plan performance;

Contribute to design and completion of project analyses.

Provide recommendations to support the formulation and completion of cross-functional BCBSA program research initiatives

Education

Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or the equivalent work experience

Certifications

Experience

5 years' experience in similar role within the healthcare environment is desired.

Skills

Solid proficiency with advanced MS Access and MS Excel with a focus on running and writing queries

Expert level proficiency with PC applications programs (e.g. Quest Analytics, COGNOS), database applications

Strong customer service acumen preferred

Demonstrated consultative skills

Problem solving skills and/or experience to determine resolution of matters in an efficient manner

Excellent organizational, analytical, oral/written communication skills

Ability to learn new application programs as they are developed by IT is essential

Ability to develop and maintain critical relationships with all levels of Association and Plan
