The quality team at Moldtronics, Inc. in Downers Grove, is seeking a dependable Secondary Technician to join the team.  This is a no experience needed position (experience is a BIG plus).

What will you do?
Separate parts from runners.
De-flash parts by using manual clippers or exacto knife.
De-gate parts by using manual clippers, exacto knife, grinder, or punch die.
Perform a variety of de-flashing operations on parts to meet company and customer requirements.
Sand blast parts with various media types.
Tumble parts.
Clean sand blaster and change blasting media as needed.
Post cure parts.
Wash and dry parts.
Ultrasonically clean parts.
Ultrasonically install thread inserts.
Visual inspection of parts under a microscope.
Visual inspection of parts under a magnification glass.

What are we looking for?
Ability to use hands to feel and handle parts.
Ability to perform elementary addition and subtraction for production and scrap reporting as necessary.
Ability to read and understand basic English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to effectively understand safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and other job requirements generally written or expressed in English.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to focus.
Must be able to regularly stand and sit throughout the shift with regular walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting of up to 20lbs.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
A successful candidate must complete a background check.
Required to be a U.S. Person - meaning U.S. Citizen or Green card holder.

ADA-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to:
Work an 8-hour shift while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; bending; stooping; twisting; use hands to handle items; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday
Core Hours of 7:30am – 4:00pm

COMPENSATION:
$17 per hour
