Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Senior Oracle Applications Express (APEX) Developer. Candidates will be working in an integrated product team of system owners' developers and testers.
What you'll do:
Senior Oracle Applications Express (APEX) Developer will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Supporting the migration of all system Oracle Forms and Reports into Oracle Applications Express (APEX).
Responsible for the analysis, design coding unit testing and documentation/audit checks for assigned system change requests.
Migration will require customized coding (PL/SQL, JavaScript and APEX) to meet end user specifications.
Responsible to make certain system changes meet established developers guide requirements/standards.
Candidates will participate in system requirements reviews, critical design reviews, test readiness reviews and pre/post implementation reviews as part of the defined system development life cycle.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, HS with 12 years of experience
Experience with Oracle Reports and Applications Express (APEX) experience.
Advanced Oracle PL/SQL skills
Oracle DBMS experience - 12c or higher
JavaScript
Experience with Agile System Development Life Cycle methodologies required

Ability to follow complex instructions, work independently, or function in a team as needed.
Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to effectively present to and interact with all levels of management.
Highly adaptive and flexible to a changing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
8 + years of software development experience.
Experience with APEX Office Print (AOP) is a plus
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for full product development life-cycle desired.
Knowledge of IT Service Management practices is beneficial.
Excellent interpersonal, consultative skills.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Self-motivated and ability to motivate others.
Good problem-solving skills

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
