Event Registered Nurse (RN)
PART-TIME Opportunity
Located at the Gorge Amphitheater in George, WA

We're hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) whose mission and purpose are to compassionately high-quality service and patient care in a professional and caring manner at major events in fixed and temporary event spaces. We encourage all Registered Nurses (RNs) to apply, especially those who are Washington residents and have previous experience at The Gorge Amphitheater! This person must be current or able to obtain Washington licensure. We ask that only serious applicants and those with current unrestricted state licensure apply. All providers must work a minimum of two (2) shifts at The Gorge Amphitheater during the season in which they work.

Responsibilities:
Assess each patient to determine best course of action and appropriate protocol.
Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, intravenous fluids, CPR and other procedures and medications as required to provide advanced medical care.
Develop and utilize triage skills to provide optimal efficiency during calls.
Provide patient care according to clinical protocols and safety requirements.
Lift and move patients as required to provide optimum care.
Communicate with incoming patient transport units to coordinate appropriate patient triage.
Communicate with patient care team and medical branch leadership to collaborate on patient flow and immediate needs.
Act as team leader and take responsibility for patient management/ treatment area management as needed.
Keep current on certifications.
Coach and educate partners of new and changing information as necessary.
Monitor and maintain the general condition of the unit, keep it clean and stocked for optimal call response to maintain the image of CrowdRx and the RAMPART System.
Document activities completely to ensure appropriate information is available regarding each patient encounter.
MinimumRequired Qualifications:
High school diploma or (GED).
Current Registered Nurse Licensure as required by the State of Washington
Required ASN or BSN degree, ICU ER or CCRN experience preferred.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/CPR) certification
Any other current certification required by location or system.
Driving record in compliance with GMR policy regarding insurability if assignment requires vehicle operation.
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Multi-lingual preferred.
Past work experience in hospital or pre-hospital setting required.
Physically fit.
