Job Overview
Day Shift - Mon-Thurs, 5:00am - 3:30pm, with alternating Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm.
A Jamco Products Welder performs all 3 welding processes (MIG, TIG and STICK) for the fabrication and assembly of metal carts, cabinets or stainless tables and carts. The responsibilities listed below are not all inclusive.
Duties and Responsibilities
Determine the appropriate welding process, equipment or method based on product requirements.
Set up components for welding according to job specifications
Follow all safety procedures: welding, stick cleaning, lifting of material, material handling and all
PPE requirements
Follow written and verbal directions to complete assignments or jobs
Operate overhead cranes, tape measure, calipers, and basic hand and air tools
Perform all duties in conjunction with Jamco procedures
Quality Check of all finished processes / work
Keep work area clean and clutter free
Perform other duties that may be assigned
Education and Experience
- GED, High school Diploma, or equivalent welding experience
- 1-year MIG, TIG, STICK welding experience required .
- Welding Certificate or Tech college preferred

with assistance from another team member.
