Position Title:
Solution Architect 1
The solution architect role involves collaborating with internal teams, customers, and partners
to formulate a comprehensive technical account plan/strategy and to lead sales engagements
to their technical conclusion. As a vital part of the sales team, you will drive success by
understanding customer use cases and crafting technical solutions utilizing the Informatica Data
Management Cloud. Your responsibilities extend to educating both customers and internal
stakeholders about the Informatica value proposition, engaging in in-depth architectural
discussions, and ensuring that solutions are optimized for successful deployment and usage in
the cloud. Within the technical sales community, you will proactively learn and actively
contribute to a growth mindset. As a mentor to your team members, you will play a role in
developing collective selling assets, knowledge repositories, and enablement materials. To drive
sustained revenue growth, you'll contribute to pipeline generation through the delivery of
technical workshops, active participation in social media promotions, content creation for
external dissemination, and involvement in industry marketing events. Additionally, you will
serve as a channel for feedback to the product management team and will support the
Customer Success team through collaboration and supporting customer nurture activities to
drive consumption.

Role Description

Basic knowledge of top 3 cloud ecosystems and top
2 data related technologies
Basic knowledge of security aspects like firewalls and encryption
Skills on at least one
INFA-related software platform
Beginner level presentation and product demonstration skills
Strong communication skills
Essential duties and Responsibilities
Proactive learner
Manage customer engagements with some support
Responsible for sharing best practices, content, and tips and tricks within the primary area of responsibility
Stay current on certification of Informatica services required for area of responsibility
Ability to support demos for virtual marketing events independently
Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a customer demo with medium assistance including discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, demos, and related customer facing communication
Partner with the CSM team to nurture activities including technical advisory, workshops, etc.
Provide customer feedback on product gaps using Vivun
Education and Experience
No prior solution architect experience
required
BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred
Skill in at least one data related software platform/technology is a plus
