We Are Inspired to Serve. Join us!Part of a nation wide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Covenant Living is seeking Wait Staff. This position is accountable for providing prompt, courteous service to all residents and guest in the dining room during meal times. It is also responsible to prepare salads and desserts as directed.

In this role, Waitstaff, will:

Take food and beverage orders.
Serve dinner to residents.
Prepare salads, desserts and sauces for dinner shift.
Maintain cleanliness of prep items in salad/fruit coolers.
Bus tables and reset them.
Assist in setting up/breaking down special events and meetings.
Clean up server and kitchen areas at the end of shift.
Complete weekly cleaning assignments as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

High School education or equivalent
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
Prefer two to three years of serving in full-service restaurant BUT willing to train.
Pay is based on experience.
Willingness to work with and interact with older adults.
Open availability.
The ability to work weekdays, weekends as well as some holidays. We currently need coverage for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as some holidays.
Ability to organize tasks and work independently.
Reliable transportation.
