Title: Program Manager II
Location: Libertyville, IL 60048
Duration: 12 months

Summary:
Patient Services (BTS) is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry to oversee and drive critical projects ( Agile and / or hybrid) within our organization. Key responsibility includes connecting business objectives with the execution of complex technical projects ( like building or enhancing new technical capabilities, integration and data migration) by partnering with engineers to establish technology and product architecture. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with strategic vision and project management acumen to deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines that account for key milestones and technical dependencies along with integration needs.
2.Project Leadership: Led cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that spans across 15+ solutions within Patient Services BTO
Technical Expertise: Have good experience in managing programs leveraging variety of technologies (Salesforce, PBI, Snowflake etc) and be able to guide engineering teams during planning and execution of agile or hybrid programs.
4.Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address technical challenges and eliminate hurdles to keep projects on track.
5. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively across projects. Monitor and report on resource utilization, ensuring optimal productivity and cost-efficiency.
6. Communication: Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
8. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of deliverables. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance and adherence to project requirements.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within project management frameworks. Drive initiatives to improve project delivery and execution.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Able to generate and optimize key metrics related to program management and engineering throughput.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization including Status reporting for various programs including schedule, budget and resource management.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in navigating technical challenges and resolving conflicts within project teams.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills in driving cross-functional teams towards common goals. Ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Agile Scrum Master, and any additional certifications related to delivery and execution aspects is preferred.
