Ryerson has an opportunity for a Sr. ABAP Developer position. As a Sr. ABAP Developer, you are responsible for developing technical specs and programming code to fix production issues and implement new functional features and interfaces for our SAP ECC 6.0 on the HANA system.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Develop technical specs and programming code to fix production issues and implement new functional features and interfaces for our SAP ECC 6.0 on HANA system
* Define and execute test cases as directed by the SAP Business Analyst
* Be a problem solver. Identify, investigate, and confirm reported issues. Determine the source of the issue and coordinate its resolution
* Ability to think out of the box to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements:
* 7+ years of ABAP programming experience
* HS diploma or GED required, Bachelors degree preferred
* Familiarity with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
* Experience with any of the following would be considered a plus: SAP Variant Configuration, OData Services, Fiori and SAPUI5, JavaScript, and HTML5
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Detail-oriented with an analytical aptitude
* Effectively use the Microsoft Office suite
