Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Senior Qualitative Case Reviewer.  Under administrative direction, this position will manage the Qualitative Case Review Program for assigned divisions and/or geographic areas.  The position will plan, design, coordinate, and conduct highly complex evaluations of Department programs and services and serve as coach and mentor to Qualitative Case Reviewers.  The position will also review cases for quality control and work with reviewers to resolve quality control issues.  Additionally, this position will analyze, formulate, and implement methods and procedures to ensure consistency of the Qualitative Review System throughout assigned areas.  This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is interested in ensuring that child welfare services provided by the Department and purchase of service agencies meet all quality standards.  DCFS offers a competitive compensation plan, excellent benefits, and a pension program.  The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent writing skills, the ability to accurately, clearly, and concisely present the facts of the case, and the ability to defend his/her position on whether outcomes are being achieved.  The ideal candidate must also have high expectations for casework practice and the achievement of outcomes for children and families, along with strong leadership capabilities.  We invite you to join our innovative team to help make a positive difference in the lives of the children and families of Illinois.
