Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our dynamic team. The BDC Representative will play a key role in supporting our sales and service departments by engaging with customers, generating leads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and a strong desire to help customers meet their automotive needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Follow-up: Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and chat to generate qualified leads for the sales and service departments. Follow up on incoming leads to convert inquiries into appointments.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Appointment Scheduling: Schedule test drives, service appointments, and vehicle deliveries, ensuring a smooth transition to the respective department.

CRM Management: Input customer information and interaction details into the dealership’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications and follow-ups.

Sales Support: Assist the sales team by providing leads and customer information, ensuring all opportunities are acted upon efficiently. Promote dealership specials, offers, and new inventory.

Marketing & Outreach: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional, to generate inbound leads and build brand awareness.

Customer Retention: Actively follow up with past customers to encourage repeat business, foster loyalty, and enhance the dealership’s relationship with its clientele.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and service teams to align strategies and ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in an automotive dealership, business development, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues. Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive products and services is a plus. Understanding of dealership operations is beneficial.
- Personality Traits: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, detail-oriented, and team player with a positive attitude. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent automotive training preferred.
