Job Description
Our client, a national telecommunications company, is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the team beginning as a freelancer but ideally converting to fulltime for the right fit if headcount allows. This is a remote role, temp-to-perm for the right fit (3-6 months of freelance to start).
The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the production and execution of marketing and advertising campaigns, track sales data, maintain inventory of promotional materials, plan meetings and trade shows, maintain databases, and prepare reports. This role also includes product administration duties.
Responsibilities:
Assist with marketing execution and strategic planning across RCP product lines, including creative development, advertising, database management, and media buying.
Manage day-to-day responsibilities for assigned projects.
Take ownership and responsibility for supporting customer, internal, and individual projects from start to finish.
Coordinate with internal staff to ensure timely execution of all project elements.
Develop printed sales materials and ensure targets are achieved within budgets.
Track expenses against budgeted amounts and update projections to ensure materials are developed and delivered within budget constraints.
Maintain department and event calendars.
Assist with budgeting process by providing accurate forecasts.
Track sales data to determine the effectiveness of promotions.
Maintain databases used for tracking marketing collateral materials for sales teams and other support functions.
Provide administrative support by coordinating marketing events and assisting with travel arrangements.
Requirements:
1-3+ years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Business is preferred.
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field is preferred but not required.
Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience working with a variety of software programs is preferred, including exposure to managing Direct Response and/or Media-driven campaigns.
Understanding of statistical analysis application for measured results vs. expense (ROI) is critical.

Ability to establish rapport with staff members at all levels within the organization.
Demonstrated ability to build professional and external working relationships with key contributors, resulting in successful sales initiatives.
Ability to work well under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
Strong analytical skills combined with knowledge of common software packages.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Detail-oriented, self-starter requiring little supervision.
Excellent written communication skills combined with organizational ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
