ROLE DESCRIPTION: As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with State Farm Jim Tom Insurance Agency, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support. Insurance Licenses required to function in this position (must possess or acquire asap) - This requirement is mandatory, so please make sure motivated before applying! - Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Providing additional product quotes for existing customers and new prospects, writing applications, following up on quotes, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.
- Base hourly (doe)
- Incentive bonus based on performance

- Property and Casualty / Life and Health insurances licenses (must possess or able to acquire prior office training)
- Previous insurance agency experience preferred
- Bilingual preferred
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
