Job Description

Cars.com d/b/a Cars Commerce Inc. seeks a Peoplesoft Developer in Chicago, IL.

Duties:

• Responsible for coding, testing, and deploying software programs for Peoplesoft Finance modules. This includes online, batch, reporting and interface customization.
• Develop new PeopleSoft custom processes, troubleshoot, and resolve production related issues.
• Develop and provide support for various third-party vendor interface integration.
• Support and enhance various Peoplesoft Billing, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and General Ledger module processes.
• Work with various finance departments to create/manage reports.
• Create and maintain complete technical documentation of processes for audit purposes.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or its equivalent), plus 5 years of experience.

Requires 5 years of experience with:

• Programming in Peoplesoft financial modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Asset Management, and General Ledger.
• Developing, modifying, and debugging complex SQRs.
• Application Designer tools, Application Engine, PeopleCode, – Component Interfaces, Workflow and XML/BI Publisher and Nvision.
• Writing complex SQL writing using Peoplesoft delivered objects.
• Working on inbound / outbound interfaces using SQR in the Unix/NT environment.
• Integration Broker REST/SOAP web services.
• Peoplesoft Server administration, Unix, and Unix Shell Script.

Telecommuting permitted.
