Railroad Technical Solution Services Specialist I - Programming
Benesch is hiring a Technical Solution Programming Services Specialist to join our talented Rail team. As a Railroad Technical Solution Programming Specialist, youwill have the opportunity todevelopand managedaily customs QuickBase functionalitiesin one of our largest and fastest-growing divisions.
The Impact You Will Have:
Assist with software design and coding.
Respond to requests from senior Solutions Architects.
Assisting the development manager with all aspects of software design.
Work with the development manager to learn and improve coding skills.
Maintain code libraries.
Create reports, internal and external code documentation.
Learn debugging techniques.
Test and monitor applications.
Great communication skills to plan and collaborate with companywide colleagues.
Knowledge of basic coding languages including Jinja, HTML and JavaScript.
Knowledge of QuickBase, AWS and ESRI Software.
Basic programming experience.
Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
Ability to learn new software and techniques quickly.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
Detail-oriented.
What We Are Looking For:
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience inRailroad Project Management operations preferred.
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Front-End Web developer or similar position.
Knowledge and experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS required
Active QB Pipelines Builder Certificate preferred
Knowledge and experience with python and Jinja preferred.
Understand emerging cloud-based project management technologies and their application to improve business operations.
