As a Software Engineering Manager, you will work at our Jack E. Caveney Innovation Center as part of a highly collaborative Intelligent & Embedded Systems engineering team. You'll manage a global team of software engineers, overseeing the software lifecycle for intelligent power products, accessories, and related embedded firmware products.

What You Will Do
  • Manage team through recruitment, coaching, assessment, performance management, engagement, and development.
  • Track and report on projects, provide updates on status and risks.
  • Estimate effort and timing in support of product owner planning.
  • Manage development, ensuring delivery expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain effective and efficient processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver outstanding features, quality, and experiences.
  • Guide Agile development ceremonies and quality processes.
What You Will Bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in software or firmware development; 3+ years leading teams. Proven experience with Atlassian tools and Java.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience as Scrum Master or Agile Process Lead preferred. Project experience with REACT a plus.
  • Knowledge: Experience with Agile, "Agile-fall," and Phase-Gate development processes. Knowledge of power electronics applications, DCIM software, or label printing preferred. Understanding of system architecture and system-level design and development preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to guide technical team and provide "hands-on" support. Experience managing a global team in hybrid work environment.
  • Interpersonal: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to negotiate effectively, and understanding of customer needs.
  • Travel: Up to 20% domestic and international.

Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $140,000- $165,000. This role qualifies for an incentive plan based on individual and company performance.
