Job Description
Job Summary: This position will monitor the daily functions required to run a successful mixing room on a given shift.Essential Functions and Responsibilities (minimum 75% presence on floor required):
- Control costs
- Training and Evaluations
- Enforce accountability for all work performed
- Provide daily work assignments to Subordinates
- Ensure all Safety related Policies and Procedures are being followed
- All other Duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required in English in order to understand equipment instruction manuals, select the proper ingredient, follow formulas, and specifications, read instruments, and record all required data
- Must be knowledgeable in GMP's and HACCP program
- Must display great attention to detail
- Must have sufficient math skills to calculate inputs, accurately weigh ingredients, and accurately measure samples by weight or dimensions
- Must be able to lift 55.5lbs unassisted
- Must be able to lift 55.5lbs to 75lbs with assistance
- Ability to stand or walk up to 80% of the time scheduled
- Ability to multiple task and shift priorities while paying close attention to detail
- Must display good problem-solving skills and must have an understanding of other employees' perspectives along with getting employees to implement solutions
- Technical and professional demeanor
- Excellent communications skills
- Exude great attention to detail
- Display the ability to train and develop new employees
- Must be able to identify what's important in order to direct and motivate employees.
- Organize and prioritize work schedule
- Willingness to accept all job assignments
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age
- Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred

Starting Pay: Production Lead Level II $26.80/hr., a shift differential is offered for 3rd shift opportunities. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
