Job Description:
Setup and improve quality systems across all operations and plants to achieve and maintain compliance requirements for industry regulatory testing agencies. Conduct overall quality management of building products such as Tile, GRID, and Metal Ceilings to maximize customer satisfaction in product and service quality. Champion continuous improvement across the organization through use of advanced quality tools, LEAN/ROPEX and other industry leading best practices as appropriate. Setup and manage claims and complaints management system (Customer facing and Suppliers) and drive root cause and corrective actions as required to reduce claims. Establish and manage routine quality KPIs reviews and improvement actions within all Grid and Metal Ceilings plants and with Tile manufacturing plants. Lead and own quality specifications, criteria, test methods, test frequency, sample size, and all quality assurance actions required to meet specifications for Grid, Meal Ceilings and Tile products across the supply chain. Implement processes to monitor compliance to the quality specifications, deviations, management of non-conforming product for Grid, Meal Ceilings and Tile products across the supply chain. Review quality procedures for new product and system introductions. Harmonize the RFN-NA quality system with other relevant ROCKWOOL Group OPCOs and factories using best practices. Provide strategic leadership as well as technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership for successful implementation of project activities. Works closely with cross functional groups in Operations, Engineering, Customer Services, Suppliers, Sales and marketing to maximize customer satisfaction in product and service quality. Setup and drive improvement in all key KPIs related to product quality and customer satisfaction. Position requires domestic and international travel up to 15%.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in job offered, Quality Engineer, or in a related occupation.
Annual Salary: $156,750-$199,00/yr.
