Job Description
ONSITE M-F BASED OUT OF OUR SYCAMORE LOCATIONJob Purpose:
In this role, you will work in a fast-pace environment and be the first point of contact to a diverse customer base. You will create strong customer relations through efficient quotation and subsequent follow-up. This person will handle order entry and inquiry; determination of specifications and requirements. You will act as the liaison between customers and the production team.
Job Responsibilities:
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Accurate order entry through detailed review of sales order generated compared to the customer purchase order.
- Communication of lead-times with customers; order follow-up and ownership to insure on-time shipment.
- Generate quotations and respond to RFQ's in a timely manner. Follow-up on quotes to determine status and if order not won, find out why.
- Proactive contact with customers to gain new orders.
- Obtain market pricing feedback from customers for various product categories.
- Complete coordination, purchasing and validation of tooling for customer orders.
- Proactive contact with customers to gain new orders.
- Develop strong relations with accounts that result in sales growth.
- Coordinate customer design requests and maintain design log for follow-up and completion.
- High School Diploma, plus 3 years of related experience and training.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, percentages for specs.
