What will you be doing?

As the Vice President, Assistant Treasurer, you'll play a key leadership role in shaping Circana's global financial strategy. You'll be responsible for guiding capital structure, liquidity planning, and risk management to support both near-term operations and long-term growth objectives. This role partners closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on financing strategies and investment decisions, while also overseeing critical relationships with banks, insurers, and credit rating agencies. You'll drive cross-functional collaboration across Finance and lead initiatives that enhance financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making at scale.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day global treasury operations and cash management functions, including cash positioning, account funding, short-term investments, and optimization of cash balances.
  • Lead the treasury cash flow forecasting process to ensure adequate liquidity is available to support day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives such as organic growth and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Drive improvements in cash velocity and other key treasury metrics (e.g., working capital, free cash flow).
  • Manage the company's capital structure, including advising Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members on financing strategies, leading the structuring, negotiation, and execution of debt and equity transactions, overseeing debt compliance, and maintaining corporate and subsidiary capital structures.
  • Maintain strong, productive relationships with corporate and investment banks as well as credit rating agencies.
  • Oversee corporate risk management activities, including the administration of global insurance programs.
  • Support the Treasurer in developing and executing key financial strategies, including process improvements and technology implementations.
  • Provide treasury-related support to other finance functions (e.g., Accounting, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)), operating leaders, and strategic initiatives such as M&A.
  • Coordinate the capital expenditure approval process.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, treasury, and capital markets
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline
  • Deep understanding of financial reporting and analysis, foreign exchange (FX) risk management, investments, debt management, and cash flow optimization
  • Demonstrated success managing relationships with banks, insurers, credit providers, and rating agencies
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global business environment, with flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and make effective recommendations
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with C-level executives on a broad range of financial and strategic topics
  • Skilled in presenting financial information and responding effectively to questions from business leaders, clients, and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of driving corporate initiatives forward
  • Excellent team management and motivational abilities
  • Demonstrated success in building and improving treasury, credit, and risk management functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote, USA

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $230,000. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
