Job Description

Client near Kenosha, Wisconsin has need for two Flexo Operators on 2nd and 3rd shifts.  Will be responsible for manufacturing quality printed products and changing machine settings to optimize quality.

Summary:

This position is responsible for setting and operating the flexographic printing press. Identify and resolve printing problems. Blends inks and solvents. Communicate problems with other operators and supervisors to ensure smooth production. Understanding of press operation, plate mounting, and quality control.

Job Specifics:

Shifts:  2nd and 3rd shifts

Job type: Direct hire opportunity

Pay range: $25-30 per hour

Job Duties:

•Maintaining accurate records of production runs, including material usage, ink blends, and adjustments made during printing. 

•Cleaning the press, lubricating parts, and ensuring the equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition. 

•Adjusting press speed, tension, and alignment to achieve desired print quality. 

•Preparing the press for printing by mounting plates, installing rollers, and filling ink fonts. 

•Reads and interprets job orders to accurately set up and run the press according to specifications. 
Accurately reading job orders, inspecting printed samples, and ensuring adherence to specifications. 

•Experience with Mark Andy flexo printing press (2200).
