Step into a role where curiosity meets precision. Join us and play a key part in driving innovation forward! As an Associate Lab Technician, you'll support product and material testing, generate and analyze performance data, and contribute to key projects. You'll work closely with engineers and the Lab Manager to drive innovation through hands-on experimentation and evaluation.

What You Will Do
  • Perform lab testing, analyze results, and report on findings.
  • Assist in fixture design for accepted testing.
  • Build technical skills through webinars and review of industry standards.
  • Utilize automation to collect test data.
  • Support integration of new lab equipment and processes.
  • Execute test setups and procedures for basic engineering projects.
  • Maintain lab safety and participate in safety initiatives.
  • Occasionally travel to other Panduit locations to support IEI labs.
What You Will Bring
  • Education: High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years working in a lab environment.
  • Lab Skills: Ability to follow instructions and test procedures, clearly document work tasks, and maintain equipment (calipers, micrometers, tensile testers, etc.).
  • Technical Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment and effectively communicate results to stakeholders. Possess basic math skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred Knowledge: Understanding of calibration procedures, and UL, ASTM, or ISO standards.

Compensation: The expected base pay range for this role is $22- $26 an hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
