Job Description
- Analyze financial data and make forecasts, budgets, performance measurements and plans, and present reports to clients to assist in operational decision making.
- Provide monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to aid business planning.
- Prepare cost-benefit analysis and work on cost-reduction projects.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and analyses and maintain supporting documentation.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement, analyze and manage risks, arrange funding and financing of operations, and monitor and enforce compliance.
- Control and forecast income and expenditure.
- Create and maintain clients’ financial systems and review bookkeeping functions.
- Monitor and analyze costs related to trucking operations like fuel, repairs, permits, and tolls.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements.
- Provide reports on trucking fleet utilization, route efficiency, and financial performance to management.
- Track the depreciation of trucks and other assets for financial reporting and tax purposes.
- Monitor the lifecycle of vehicles, including their resale value and replacement needs.
- Oversee weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual payroll for assigned accounts.
- Assist CPA with annual tax preparation and filings.
- Provide tax and accounting support for foreign companies relocating to the United States.
- Prepare and lead webinars on international tax and accounting issues in Ukrainian and Russian.
