Job Description
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices.
- Ensure compliance and company policies regarding financial transactions.
Requirements
- Must have two years accounts payable experience in the trucking logistics field.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or accounts payable roles.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excel and Spreadsheet experience required
