Job Description
Our global travel client is seeking an Art Director to join their team for the next 2 months, 40 hours/week, potential to extend.
This role is 100% onsite in downtown Chicago.
Role Summary
The Art Director is responsible for leading the visual development of creative projects, from concept through execution. This role involves formulating layout designs, overseeing artistic production, and ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand standards. The Art Director collaborates closely with creative teams and clients to deliver compelling visual content across various media.

Strong layout and design expertise across print, digital, and multimedia
Proven leadership in managing creative teams and projects
Excellent communication and client presentation skills
Additional Qualifications
Proficiency in design software and tools
Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and vendor negotiations
Ability to create custom illustrations and multimedia interfaces
Knowledge of printing processes and production standards
Responsibilities
Formulate basic layout design or presentation approach, and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation, video and sound.
Develop and present visual concepts and layouts to clients
Direct and approve design work, ensuring quality and consistency
Collaborate with creative, copywriting, and production teams
Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations
Hire, train, and supervise design staff
Attend photo shoots and production sessions
Prepare storyboards and design elements for multimedia and television
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
