Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

College of DuPage seeks a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to teach Computer and Information Technology courses starting in August 2025.

The CIT Department at the College of DuPage is in search of an Information Technology (IT) professional to teach in a variety of areas of Information Technology including: Cyber Security, Computer Forensics, Network Security, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Virtualization, VoIP or Cloud.

We are actively seeking innovative, collaborative colleagues who regularly examine their pedagogy and practices in order to foster more equitable, accessible, and inclusive student learning.

Faculty duties include classroom instruction, assessment, curriculum development, advising students, professional inquiry, committee work, and an engagement with instructional technology.

Teaching assignments will primarily include face-to-face instruction at our main campus.

Qualifications:

Education

Master's degree in the field of IT/Telecommunication.

IT certifications related to the various IT areas:(CCNA, CCNP, Ethical Hacking, VmWare Virtualization, AWS, Azure, Palo Alto, CASP+, PMP preferred.

Experience

Minimum of five years of professional IT industry experience required.

IT experience in a minimum of three areas is required.

Teaching experience required. Teaching experience in a community college preferred.

A teaching demonstration will be required at interview.

Foreign Transcripts: Transcripts issued outside the United States require a course-by-course analysis with an equivalency statement from a certified transcript evaluation service verifying the degree equivalency to that of an accredited institution within the USA.
