Job Description
Hyatt Corporation seeks a Senior Data Product Manager (Chicago, IL, or remote anywhere within the U.S.) responsible for working closely with engineers and data scientists to manage and enhance data products that support the Finance business function. Will oversee the development, deployment, and improvement of data-driven solutions, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives. Responsible for defining the vision, goals, and roadmap for data products, ensuring they meet the needs of business stakeholders. Partnering with engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and deliver data products. This includes working with the team on the architecture, data models, and algorithms. Overseeing the integration of various data sources and ensuring the accuracy and availability of data for analytics, reporting, and decision-making. Acting as a liaison between business teams, data engineers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, from ideation to launch, including continuous monitoring and iterations for optimization. Requires: a Bachelor’s Degree in business or a technical discipline and 5 years of related experience. Demonstrated experience with: SQL, Snowflake, Redshift, cloud data warehouses, data pipelines, and ETL processes; Managing full product lifecycles, particularly data or software products; Working with cross-functional teams (engineers, data scientists, business stakeholders); Aligning technical solutions with business goals; Data privacy and security (PII, GDPR, etc.); and Leading cross-functional projects. The salary range for this position is $129,400 to $206,600. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, and annual performance bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
