Position Overview

This position provides project management and technical leadership of environmental investigation and remediation projects, as well as assisting in the development of technical staff to meet client and organizational needs. The individual is required to have experience working within the Illinois Site Remediation Program (SRP) and/or Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) Program. This position is available in either our Oak Brook or Chicago, IL locations.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of environmental consulting experience.
  • Holds professional certification as a P.E., or absent certification, a minimum of 10 years working with a licensed professional.
  • Proficient in performing senior level interpretation work including remedial cost estimates, future remedial measures selection, and costing.
  • Experience performing conceptual and detailed remedial design work including site/remedial investigation activities.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Advanced data evaluation and analytical skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability and willingness to support the technical growth of project/staff level professionals based on direct hands-on interactions.

Essential Duties

  • Project Management:
    • Manage projects including key responsibilities for scheduling and coordination of project resources to meet client and organizational needs.
    • Ensure that individual task schedules, budgets, and client invoicing are performed in accordance with Company standards and client requirements to complete project work.
  • Technical Data Review and Report Preparation:
    • Coordinate and provide quality control for data collection and review of project results, including the reduction of field data to evaluate and determine future client needs and project requirements.
    • Interpret data, develop, and finalize a report for Project Principal’s review that appropriately documents findings and project remediation recommendati
