Communications Specialist

Position Overview
The Communications Specialist will support the marketing and communications programs for member prospects and existing healthcare members, assist in developing strategies to promote the program and implement multi-channel automated campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This is a 5-month, 40 hour per week contract role and eligible candidates must be able to work CST hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a variety of internal and external teams to implement campaigns while achieving desired results against measurable goals and ROIs. 
  • Work with department leaders to determine market-specific needs to implement a tailored program that brings in new members and retains existing members.
  • Help develop and coordinate marketing and communications programs
  • Track and report out results to various business leaders across the health plan
  • Facilitate the development of project briefs with actionable insights
  • Serve as content editor to all marketing communication materials

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing and communications with preference for experience in health care or related industries
  • 1+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other Marketing Automation platform
  • Omni-channel marketing experience, with a focus on digital and email marketing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Medicaid or health care marketing preferred
  • Analytical skills, strategic thinking, and creative problem solving
  • Effective time-management and organization, with the flexibility to quickly adapt to changes
