Job Description
Our well-known pharma client is seeking a Video Production Assistant to join their team for a 2 year contract, 40 hours/week.
This is hybrid (3 days onsite) in Mettawa, IL.
Role Summary
The Video Production Assistant (VPA) supports the Video Account Manager in producing high-quality video content within a fast-paced, high-volume agency environment. This role collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to manage video projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with brand standards, timelines, and budgets.
Top Must Have Skills
4-8 years of video production experience, preferably in an ad agency setting
Strong understanding of video production workflows and processes
Proven ability to develop production estimates and timelines
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
Collaborative mindset with experience in high-pressure environments
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with senior leadership and external vendors
Familiarity with hiring on-camera and voice-over talent
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Kantata)
Responsibilities
Manage video assignments under the guidance of the Video Account Manager
Own and execute video projects, ensuring quality and compliance with brand and legal standards
Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and production schedules
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery
Open and track video jobs in Kantata and maintain project documentation
Support archiving and post-production processes
Communicate project status and updates clearly and consistently
Uphold agency production standards
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
