Job Description
Our well-known health tech client is seeking a Copy Editor/Proofreader to help their team for at least a 6-month contract.
This exciting position is onsite 3 days/ week in Lake Forest, IL.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Copy Editor/Proofreader who will get to work on the in-house creative team at this global organization. If you have technical copy experience please highlight as this will set you apart from other candidates!
The Proofreader/Copy Editor helps instill corporate brand through quality assurance of content for internal and external marketing communications across digital and print applications. The primary focus of this role includes proofreading and light editing for brand communications, public affairs and business writing. The proofreader will partner with creative directors, project managers, writers, senior designers, and at times, internal clients.
Copy Editor/Proofreader Responsibilities:
-50/50 copyediting vs. proofing of digital, print and video deliverables
-Technical copyediting/proofing of medical/healthcare information
-Able to work within brand guidelines and understand various brands / business units
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
