Seeking a dynamic Customer Service Representative/Administrative Assistant with experience in the Corrugated Packaging, Box Manufacturing Industry.

The Customer Service Representative serves as a key liaison between customers, internal sales, and manufacturing teams. This position manages customer orders, ensures accurate and timely fulfillment, and helps maintain strong client relationships. This position must also possess strong office, clerical and administrative skills. Must have prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Enter and manage customer orders in Amtech – Encore from order receipt through delivery.
  • Communicate corrugated specifications such as box styles, flute types, and board grades.
  • Coordinate with production, planning, and shipping to meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Provide accurate updates on order status, lead times, and shipping details.
  • Review orders for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Support production scheduling by communicating customer needs and changes.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist with pricing updates, sample requests, and order revisions.
  • Maintain current customer records, price lists, and job histories in system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve service and order flow.

Qualifications – Preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or sales coordination, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proper phone and email etiquette required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with Amtech – Encore or similar ERP/CRM systems strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with corrugated packaging terminology and product flow is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
