Position Description:
The Epicor Developer position is a technical position focused on the development and maintenance of custom solutions for Epicor Kinetic, and Legacy versions if skill set permits. Candidate should work collaboratively with team members, business analyst, and stakeholders to develop solutions for all business units. Candidate will identify technical solutions that will optimize business processes and produce written documentation describing the functional requirements (FR) for smaller projects, and complete technical engineering designs for larger projects that detail test scripts that prove acceptance.
The company places a high emphasis on continuous improvement. The candidate will be focused on increasing the system functionality and efficiency through custom development, including design, build, and testing of the Epicor ERP.
Tooling used will be Business Activity Queries (BAQs), Business Process Management (BPMs), Application Studio, Customizations, Dashboards, SSRS reports, Power BI and managing data migration files to support various departments. Assist with creating and implementing user acceptance testing for upgrades and design changes. Experience in architecting new processes. Create custom reports and custom screens, using C#, SQL, for a variety of users and departments. Development for 3rd party systems integration and interfacing modules. An understanding of APIs.
Design, build, test, and troubleshoot system changes. Manage and prioritize multiple projects. Be responsive to support requests that may interrupt scheduled development.
Job Requirements:
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to project design and implementation
• Provide technical support for system issues, including root cause analysis and remediation
• Participated in successful implementations
• Understand business reporting requirements with the ability to translate into technical specifications
• Support the business in the development of custom screens and reports to manage and measure the business
• Maintain a high level of technical competency regarding development and implementation tools
Qualifications:
5+ years minimum experience working in a developer capacity within Epicor ERP. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing and distribution in Epicor E10/Kinetc.
Success in this position will require the candidate to have:

Schedule:
Monday to Friday – Central Time, This position is hybrid, based in University Park, IL, but we are open to remote work for the right candidate.
