Job Description
Job title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Morton Grove, IL 60053
Duration: 7 months contract with higher extension possibility
40 hours per week | 1st Shift | Mon - Fri
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr on W2 without benefits
Responsibilities:
- Palletizer - the transportation of finished products from the production lines to the warehouse for storage and/or orders.
- Re-Organization – Way.
- Basic SAP knowledge (troubleshooting managed by the Product Distribution Technicians).
- Operation of powered material handling equipment (PMHE) to move, store, load, and unload hazardous finished product(s).
- Physically pick, assemble, and load customer orders (LTL or small package systems) of multiple products, in multiple size containers.
- Computer processing of inventory controls, shipping manifests, packing lists, and billing information.
- Responsible to clean and/or assist with cleaning spills.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic computer functions.
- Knowledge of basic warehousing functions.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to be licensed to operate PMHE.
- Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a wide range of climates.
- Ability to work in a safe manner.
- Ability to work in a self-managed environment.
- Ability to work occasional overtime or other assigned scheduled determined by the manager.
