Job Description
Perform process engineering duties used to manufacture chemical processing pumps. Optimize process parameters through design of experimental analysis with a focus on improving first pass yield, total throughput, quality as well as implementing any process improvements to enhance safety in the workplace. Design tooling and fixtures for experimentation to assist with variable isolation, upon further testing, optimize designs for manufacture and implement in production processes. Utilize lean manufacturing techniques and the 6S process to improve efficiency in the manufacturing environment. Investigate project/capital equipment proposals, develop justification, prepare requests for expenditure, acquire equipment, install equipment, and ensure that justification goals are achieved. Recommend innovative solutions when applications are feasible to improve throughput and quality. $87,110.00 - $91,315.00 per year.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, Experimental Design, or a related field.
