In this role, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the fitness landscape - partnering with top health clubs, delivering innovative solutions, and driving growth across a diverse portfolio of accounts. Location: Midwest-based, near a major metro area (Remote with travel)
Travel: Up to 30%
About the Role
This Key Account Manager (KAM) will support both centrally purchased and field-activated accounts within the Health Club segment. This position is part of a team of three and reports directly to the Strategic Accounts Director.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage relationships with field-activated and centralized accounts across your assigned region
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Health Club segment
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Service, Credit & Leasing, and Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce
- Support delivery and installation logistics, resolving issues as needed
- Represent Life Fitness at industry events and trade shows
- Contribute to a coordinated national strategy while owning regional execution
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in fitness, wellness, or health-related industries
- Proven success in new business development and account growth
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High energy, resilience, and a customer-first mindset

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $78,800 - $114,200 annually.The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength's Sales Incentive Plan with monthly commission eligibility, in addition to base salary. The amount of any commission and bonus varies based on attainment of individual performance goals and other relevant factors, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.This position is eligible to receive a mobile allowance to offset the costs of using a personal cell phone for business related purposes.
