DescriptionThe University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center invite applications for full-time faculty positions at any rank on the School of Medicine track from applicants who specialize in Geriatric Oncology. Appointees will have regular clinic sessions at our Hyde Park campus and possible network locations and attend inpatient services. Appointees will collaborate with geriatricians and palliative care providers to deliver comprehensive, age-sensitive treatment plans. Other duties will include the teaching and supervision of trainees and students, as well as research and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Oncology.
