Job Description
Managers, Operations & Strategic Management with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Normal, IL. Drive operational success and strategic alignment within the Planning Excellence Organization. Lead and develop a team of project managers and/or data analytics specialists to optimize business processes, enhance data reporting accuracy, and achieve performance targets. Ensure that the OSM team delivers exceptional results across diverse projects while supporting both immediate objectives and long-term company goals. Oversee key operational areas such as material inventory processes, supplier performance, logistics, and systems implementation, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational strategies. Supervise a team of project managers and analysts.
RQMTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field and 5 years of experience in any occupation involving inventory control and material planning. Experience must include: Executing and overseeing inventory processes related to Material and Production Planning; Analyzing and interpreting MRP outputs, identifying discrepancies or inefficiencies, and developing effective solutions; Interfacing with cross-functional teams including logistics, scheduling, and production control; Monitoring supplier performance, ensuring conformance to production schedules, and identifying opportunities for improvement; Facilitating supplier improvement plans and countermeasures; Communicating delivery exceptions and resolving logistics issues to support production and material handling teams. Salary Range: $148,000-$152,000/yr.
