Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities
- Responsible for the safe operation, housekeeping, and bar code labeling of manufacturing equipment, parts, and tools.
- Has a substantial understanding of inventory management and applies knowledge and skills to coordinate the check out procedure of mechanical inventory.
- Works on moderately difficult assignments, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
- In-depth knowledge of changeovers and identification of tools and parts required for a smooth transition.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
High School
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Technological aptitude and familiarity with Microsoft programs and E Maintenance.
- Ability to understand, identify, and work with tools, parts, equipment, and inventory systems.
- Exposure/experience with inventory tracking and strong organizational skills.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to read and understand production schedules, inventory reports, cycle counts, and work orders.
- Ability to perform required Quality Checks on tools and parts and record results as appropriate.
- Ability to work in teams.
- Ability to maintain flexibility and be willing and able to work with various parts and tools during the shift.
- Must comply with quality, PPE requirements, and safety, and understand the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to walk and stand.
Position is associated with pushing, pulling, climbing, handling, reaching, stretching, and working in tight and high places.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions:
Inside conditions, extremes of heat (100+ seasonal), exposure to humidity, working in tight areas, high noise levels from the production environment, including some exposure to outside weather elements, oil and dirt.d dirt
