Job Description
Seeking a Dump Truck Driver to join our growing Joliet, IL team! All candidates must have a clean driving record and pass a drug test.MUST HAVE AN UP-TO-DATE MEDICAL CARD.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and will not require current or future sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from construction sites.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure transportation and delivery.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations while operating the dump truck.
- Follow instructions from the site supervisor to ensure materials are delivered to the designated location within specified timeframes.
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including mileage, hours of operation, fuel usage, and any incidents encountered on the road.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a dump truck in a construction or similar environment.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and precautions.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials when required.
