Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager in the Center of Excellence (CoE) and will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the accounting team. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. You will have a background in accounting and a commitment to continuous improvement.
You will
- Support month, quarter, and year end reporting activities for accurate reporting
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Participate in monthly balance sheet reviews working with the business and SSC
- Investigate and resolve accounting issues
- Support OneStream reporting to ensure it is performed accurately
- Ensure integrity and reliability of all financial transactions and that they follow US GAAP and JBT Marel standards.
- Support internal and external audit requests, and participate in efforts to remediate audit and control findings.
- Document standard operating procedures and instructions surrounding accounting procedures.
- Share best practices in accounting practices with others in the Accounting Cente
