Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team.  Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, this role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting key accounting functions, including accounts payables, accounts receivables, month-end close, inventory control, fixed asset tracking, job costing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong technical accounting and analytical skills to the table.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
  • Records financial transactions, including preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis and review.
  • Performs financial analysis and prepares internal reports for management.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Control
  • Perform manufacturing costing, cost analysis, and job cost reviews.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure accuracy in cost allocations, and financial reporting of transactions.
  • Assist in the development annual budget preparation & forecast.
  • Assist in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Contributes to special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Assists in audit preparation and responds to auditor inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • CPA Preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years’ experience in accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite & NetSuite
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
