What You Will Do
Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations and in collaboration with campus providers, the Administrative Nurse II is responsible for supporting the delivery of comprehensive clinical services within Health Service. This position ensures that care is provided in a skilled, organized, and efficient manner, maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice and regulatory compliance. Through a hybrid role that blends direct patient care-including clinical assessment, immunizations, procedural support, and health education-with operational leadership in areas such as inventory management, policy development, and public health coordination, the Administrative Nurse II plays a pivotal role in sustaining high-quality, accessible healthcare for students, faculty, staff, and the broader SIUE community.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

-Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation.
-Two years of professional nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelor of Science in Nursing
-One to three years of professional nursing experience in an ambulatory setting.
-One year of administrative nursing experience.
-Certification in CPR/AED (cardiopulmonary resuscitation/automatic electronic defibrillation), and annual bloodborne pathogen training.
