NOW Hiring Entry to Mid-level Experienced Sanitation Workers!
The Sanitation associate is responsible for housekeeping in the GMP area and tidiness of other areas within the plant and on the plant grounds.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Porter Duties:
1. Sweeping and squeegeeing floors, emptying trash and pulling dishes from the Production rooms
2. Keeping supplies and PPE stocked in the Production rooms and GMP entrance
3. Exchanging full and empty trash carts with Waste Operator
Waste Operator Duties:
1. Exchanging full and empty trash carts with Porters and dumping into outside waste bins
2. Sorting leftover product into trash, compost or recycling
3. Keeping loading dock and trash area free of debris
Custodian Duties:
● Keep the floor and floor drains in the Production rooms and other rooms clean and free of debris
● Dump trash and compost bins to ensure they remain useable for Production
● Take racks of dirty dishes from the Production rooms and deliver to dish room to exchange for empties
● Take full trash, compost and cardboard carts to the Waste Operator to exchange for empties
● Assist with other projects as needed ie. spill clean up, floor scrubbing, etc.
Waste Operator Duties:
● Receive full trash, compost and cardboard carts from Porters to exchange for empties
● Dump trash carts into cardboard compactor, trash compactor, recycling bin or compost bin
● Sort leftover product to stock employee fridge or dump into trash, compost and recycling if expired
● Keep Trash Room, dock area and warehouse space tidy
● Utilize floor scrubber machine to clean floors
● Assist with other projects as needed ie. sorting items for donation, cover if short-handed Porters on the floor

Pay Rate: $16.60 per hour in addition to Shift Differential of $2.50 per hour for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
