Job Description

Nudo Products, Inc. seeks a Controller to work in Springfield, IL.

 

Salary range of $108,659.00 - $134,903.00 annually.

Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and ISO 9001 requirements. Coordinate all accounting operational functions. Oversee the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results. Oversee all aspects of the general ledger and preparation of adjusting journal entries. Provide monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses in a timely manner to senior management. Analyze and report variances of budget and prior year. Analyze and report on department performance. Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements. Coordinate activities of external and bank auditors. Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process – Dashboard reporting of key financial metrics. Prepare the annual budgeting process. Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes. Evaluate accounting and internal control systems. Oversee regulatory reporting including sales tax, unclaimed funds, and government census requests. Oversee billing and accounts payable functions. Maintain fixed assets. Analyze production costs. Assisting in calculation of product costing including labor and overhead cost rates. Daily and monthly cash management and reporting. Involvement in annual physical inventory observation of all locations. Prepare schedules for annual income tax preparation. Reconcile bank statements. Assist with payroll duties when needed. Prepare other reports as requested by management. Assist with other projects as requested by management. Other duties as assigned by Manager.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years of accounting experience in a Controller role, with demonstrated expertise in financial consolidation and international financial reporting standards. Experience must include proficiency in Mexican GAAP and cross-cultural collaboration, particularly with international clients and business partners. Candidates should also have at least 3 years of experience engaging with senior leadership, end-users, and stakeholders in global settings.
