Injection Mold Maker
OTTO’s opportunity:
Our Injection Mold Maker is responsible for fabrication of Injection Molding tooling.
Specifically, the Injection Mold Maker will:
- Keep a clean and safe work area.
- Understanding of tool steels and production materials.
- Understanding of Molding tool room equipment.
- Knowledge of piece part inspection to quality specifications.
- Capable of working from blueprints and/or CAD models to construct, alter, or repair tooling.
- Responsible for maintaining and fabrication of molds for the molding department.
- Assist in preventative maintenance for molds in the molding department.
- Assist in the design of piece parts for manufacturability.
- Basic understanding of operation of injection molding.
- Assist in ordering supplies in the molding tool room.
- Assist with communication of customers.
- Assist with on time delivery.
- Assist with other related duties as required or assigned.
