What You Will Do

Under the general supervision from a Food Service Administrator, perform line supervisory duties for a food service unit within the Food Service Department.
FLSA: Non-Exempt

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three (3) years (36 months) of food service work experience in an institutional or commercial setting.
Supervisory ability and experience.
Ability to pass food handlers examination.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures and possession of Illinois Department of Public Health Food Service Management Sanitation Certificate.

Illinois Residency Requirement: Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System, out-of-state candidates must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date for this position.
